Day 1: Drive to the Akagera national park for evening sundowner
Have a leisurely but luxurious breakfast at your hotel. Get your bags ready to check out of the hotel. You will leave Kigali headed to the Akagera national park with enroute visits. You will enjoy a brief Kigali city tour visiting the Kimironko market and the Kigali genocide memorial grounds. Have lunch from one of the best Kigali diners with a variety of cuisines to choose from.
Connect further to your hotel in Akagera national park to check in for your Rwanda wildlife tour. You will arrive at your hotel for check in and settle in. Later at 5pm, you will head out for your evening sundowner in the park to enjoy the sunset. Dinner will be served and you will spend a night in Akagera national park.

Day 2: Day Game drive and evening boat cruise on Lake Ihema
You will have an early morning starting off with breakfast at the lodge and later head out to the park for an early morning game drive in the Akagera plains for a chance to spot the wildlife of the park like the elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, lions, the antelopes like the kobs, elands.
You will return to your hotel for lunch and enjoy a couple’s massage at the hotel as you pass some time. Later in the day, you will connect further to the Lake Ihema for your boat trip to also spot the aquatic life like the hippos and the crocodiles basking on the lake shores. This is also a great opportunity to do some birding as Akagera is a home to about 500 different birds. Return to your hotel as the day ends and dinner will be served and you will spend another night in Akagera national park.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Kigali
Rise up and get ready for another chance with the wild. You will be served breakfast at your lodge and later head out to the park for another chance to spot the wildlife that you may have missed on the game drive on the previous day. Once you are ready to end the game drive, you will connect for a barbeque lunch.
You will have a barbeque lunch and head out further back to Kigali for drop off at your agreed drop off point.
