This 1 day lake ihema boat cruise safari will lead you south of Rwanda to Akagera national park the home to the big five animals in Rwanda. the safari can start at any time of your convenience, you just need to talk to you guide/tour operator on the best time that fits your schedule. At a location of your choice in Kigali city, you will be met by your driver guide to transfer you to Akagera national park watching the rolling hills, a number of tea plantations and the unique ways of living of the people of Rwanda as you make your way to the one of the most notable national parks in Rwanda.
You will arrive in time to participate in the boat cruise but on your way to the lake you will have a complimentary game drive on us at no extra cost. The time for the game drive depends on the time you reach the park and the time you will take part in the boat cruise. During the drive, you will watch a number of game animals especially the herbivores like the elephants grazing within the plains, the rhinos, you will also watch the carnivores like the lions catching their prey and many other attractions.
When you take part in the boat cruise you will be amazed by the beauty of the park as you enjoy the boat rides, when you participate in the morning boat ride, you will watch the early risers taking dips like the hippos, buffaloes and in the evening/ afternoon boat cruise you will watch the sun set and will also get to see a number of animal species as they take dips in the water. You will watch a number of bird species like the endangered shoe bill stork, African King fishers catching their prey from the Lake that live around the lake and the surrounding swamps.
