This half day safari in Akagera National Park is the perfect safari experience for travelers who are interested in watching a number of wildlife species and enjoying the wild but with a limited time in Rwanda. The safari starts as early as 5:00 am in Kigali city where you will be picked up by our trusted tour guide/operator who will pick you up from either Kigali International Airport which will lead you to Akagera National Park to either embark on a half-day game drive in Akagera national park or a boat cruise on lake Ihema. The half day game drive will give you access to a number of different attractions in the wild from the big five animals; the leopard, lions, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes. Some other attractions that can be seen include; the elands, gazelles, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, impalas, and many other rewarding attractions. When you choose to participate in the boat cruise on Lake Ihema, you will get to watch a number of rewarding views as you enjoy the boat rides enjoying the cool breeze, and watch a number of water birds like the kingfishers catching their prey, the endangered shoebill stork which is one of the most sought after attractions by travelers interested in birding in Rwanda. After the safari experience, you will then be transferred back to either Kigali International Airport or a location of your choice which will mark the end of your safari experience.
