1 Day Kibale National Park Safari
Kibale National Park is famous for being the primate hub of Uganda with 13 primates that can be seen when you visit. The most dominant species are the chimpanzees with over 1500 chimpanzees that can be seen and in this 1 day kibale national park safari, here’s what you should expect as you participate in chimpanzee trekking in trekking in Uganda when you make your way to Kibale national park. With this safari experience, it starts in areas like Kasese, Kabarole, Kyenjojo, Kasese to make it easier for you to access the park in the shortest time possible.
As early as 6:00am, you will be picked by your guide who will pick you up and transfer you to kibale national park. When you make your way to the park, you will head to the park headquarters where you will be assigned to a guide, ranger and later participate in a briefing session for chimpanzee trekking in the park. After the session, you will embark on your hike to the habituated chimpanzee troop in the park. while hiking through the forests you will watch a number of attractions from herbivores like the forest elephant, the buffaloes and also you will have the chance to watch a number of different bird species from the migratory bird species, Albertine endemic bird species and a number of primates like the Mona monkey, vervet monkey, silver monkey, Hamlyn’s monkey and many other rewarding attractions. When you get to the chimpanzee troop, you will get to move with them this is because they are quite mobile species that are always on the move and with this, it will give you the chance to see how they interact with the environment which will give you the most memorable safari experience watching how they go about their daily activities in the wild for a memorable safari experience. Don’t forget to carry your camera because there’s a lot for you to watch during your chimpanzee trekking experience in Uganda. After your safari experience, your guide will pick you up, have lunch and you will be dropped off at a location of your choice around kibale national park or kampala city and the end of your 1 day kibale national park safari.
