Day 1: Transfer to Jinja and afternoon boat cruise

Upon arrival/Depending on your location, you will meet with the drive and embark on your journey to Jinja, a home to the Source of the Nile. This is a 2 hours drive through Mabira forest, the thickest and largest forests and also through large tea and sugar plantations in Lugazi. This is an interesting drive with a lot to see. Close to Jinja town, you will cross the bridge. Proceed for lunch either in Jinja town or at your lodge, refresh at the lodge then later afternoon, visit the source of River Nile where you will be given an experiment to confirm the source, do an evening boat cruise along lake Victoria. You have dinner and overnight stay at 2 Friends hotel/Gately on the Nile.

Day 2: Half day white water rafting

After having morning breakfast, drive straight to the starting point for your half day rafting activity. You will go for the morning shift which starts at 9am. You will be guided to the rafting spot where you will be given full gears needed and instructions for the activity. Then enjoy your half day amazing fun along the Nile. After having lunch, connect to your journey back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight stay Sheraton hotel/Fairway Hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

After early morning breakfast, meet the drive and transfer to Kibale forest national park in the western part of the country. This is a full day drive with lunch en route. Arrive Fort portal town in the evening and connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Kyaninga lodge/Kibale Cottage/Chimpanzee Guest House

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Have breakfast very early and later transfer to the park head office for a briefing about the endangered chimpanzees and later enter the forest with the guidance of a park ranger along with your tracking gears, packed water and snacks. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa with 13 species of primate where chimpanzees are the most visited. This tracking takes about 2-5 hours in search of the chimpanzees. On finding the primates, you will spend 1 hour viewing then while studying their behavior and taking pictures. After tracking, return to the lodge for lunch and refresh.

In the afternoon after lunch, connect for a nature walk at Bigodi wetland for a birding safari. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Game drive and Boat cruise

Wake up early and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, a 3 hours drive. Enter the park and connect directly for the morning game drive in Kisenyi, expect to see a good number of wildlife like the elephants, Buffaloes, tree climbing lions, warthogs, Uganda Kobs, leopards on a lucky day among others.

In the afternoon, your driver will take you for your boat cruise along Kazinga channel and enjoy viewing the park’s beauty while cruising on Lake Edward. The lake is known to have the highest concentration of hippos in E. Africa, other animals to see include crocodiles, elephants will also be seen drinking from the lake, and different birds can also be spotted. Day 6: Lion experience and Transfer to Bwindi

After early morning breakfast, connect for a lion tracking where you guaranteed to see a pride of lions as close as possible for about 2 hours. after the activity drive out of the park to connect transfer to Bwindi-home of half of the remaining gorillas in the world. This is a 4-5 hours scenic drive. Arrive in the late afternoon and check in your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven lodge/Ichumbi Gorilla lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking experience

Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will observe and take pictures at very close range when the adults are feeding and groaning among themselves. After spending an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer to the lodge for a restful evening. Day 8: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and afternoon boat/canoe ride

After early morning breakfast, drive to Kabale district to lake Bunyonyi. The lake is located between Kisoro and Kabale in the southwestern Uganda close to the border with Rwanda, it’s believed to be the second deepest lake in Africa with the depth between 44m and 900m deep and width of about 7 to 25kms. The driver will drive slowly so you can enjoy pictures of the rolling hills of the region. It’s usually one and a half hours drive with lunch stopover. Upon arrival at Lake Bunyonyi with great scenic views of surrounding hills, connect for a boat ride/ canoe paddle and visit the main islands including the community. Day 9: Whole Day at Lake Bunyonyi

You will spend this whole day relaxing at Lake Bunyonyi. You will choose to carry out a couple of optional safari activities if interested.

Day 10: Transfer back to Entebbe/Departure

After enjoying very early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala with en route at the Equator and lunch. This is a 7-8 hours drive. Depending on your time of departure, connect to Entebbe International airport for your scheduled flight back home.
