1 Day Express Rwanda Gorilla Trek
1 Day Express Rwanda Gorilla Trek : You will be picked up from where you will be staying (hotel) as early as 4:30 for a 2 hours picturesque drive to Volcanoes national park in Musanze province, home to endangered mountain gorillas.
On arrival in Ruhengeri, proceed to the park headquarters at Kinigi (21 minutes drive) for briefing by the park warden about the dos and don’ts during trekking, along with your packed lunch and trekking gears, you will be transferred to the trekking starting point after you are allocated a group.
Gorilla trekking may last from 1-8 hours depending on the movements of the mountain gorillas. On meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend an hour as you get to see their behavior while taking photographs.
Return to the starting point and meet your driver. You will embark for lunch at Hotel Muhabura or any other hotel around Musanze. After lunch, drive back to Kigali city to where you will be staying or proceed for a drop off at the airport for a scheduled flight back home.
