Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park,
Depending on your pick-up location, our expert driver guide will pick you up very early in the morning at around 6:00 am from your hotel to set off on the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. The drive to the park is between 4 to 5 hours drive which will give you exceptional views from the homesteads along the roads, and the beautiful smiles of Ugandans as you pass them by. You will also have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe where you will enjoy impressive photography, buy souvenirs, and then continue to drive to the park. On your arrival at the park, you will get to participate in a game drive which will give you access to a number of different attractions from the different animal species like the; buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, elands, warthogs, waterbucks, impalas, topi, view different bird species many others. After the game drive you will have lunch where you will embark on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. During the boat cruise which takes about 2 hours, you will enjoy remarkable views of hippos and crocodiles in the water, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes along the shores, quadric birds like cormorants, hornbills, bee-eaters, kingfishers, view fishermen fishing many others. After the boat cruise, you will transfer back to Kampala and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at any place of inconvenience in Kampala city.
