DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depending on your location in Kampala city, you will be picked up by your guide to transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will get to participate in gorilla trekking in Uganda. While making your way to the park, you will have the chance to stop over at kayabwe for the northern and southern experiments. You will also get to visit the Igongo cultural centre, where you will get to buy souvenirs and have lunch at the centre. After the safari experience at the centre, you will make you make your way to Bwindi impenetrable national park, arriving in time to participate in the Batwa Trail experience, to understand more about the previously forested people with their unique cultural values.
Day 2: Gorilla Habituation in Uganda
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will make your way to the park’s headquarters, where you will get to participate in the briefing session for gorilla habituation in Uganda. After the briefing session, you will make your way to participate in gorilla habituation, which will give you the chance to watch how the primates are trained to get accustomed to human presence. Interesting about the safari is the fact that you will get to watch the different reactions of the species to the different training sessions of getting accustomed to human presence. With gorilla habituation, you will get the chance to spend four hours with the gorillas, which is longer compared to gorilla trekking in Uganda, which involves taking an hour with the species.
