DAY 1: ARRIVE IN KIGALI, TRANSFER TO AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK AND BOAT CRUISE
You will be met by your driver guide at your agreed location in Kigali to transfer to Akagera national park where you will arrive in time to embark in an early morning game drives that will give you the chance to watch a number of game animals especially the herbivores like the elephants grazing within the plains, the rhinos, you will also get to see a number of remarkable views for the park and a number of rewarding attractions after your game drive you will transferred to the lodge for lunch and refreshments and later on participate in the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will see game like hippopotamuses, Crocodiles and many bird species like the endangered shoe bill stork, African King fishers catching their prey from the Lake that live around the lake and the surrounding swamps. DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVES
Rise up early and go for a game drive with great anticipation of seeing the different animals which rise early to graze and predators looking for their early morning kill. After the game drive, return to connect with your driver guide and drive back to your lodge for lunch. DAY 4: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND CANOPY WALK
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will be picked by your guide who will transfer you to Nyungwe national park where you will get to participate in chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk. Chimpanzee trekking in Rwanda is quite a rewarding activity which will give you the chance to understand more about the primate species which will give you an amazing time in the park. The activity involves hiking through the forest o the park in order to access the habituated chimpanzee troops, during the activity you will have the chance to observe how they carry out their daily activities, how they carry out their daily activities, their grooming patterns, how they care for their infants, how they construct their nests for overnight stay.
