Day 1: Transfer to Gishwati Mukura national park
In the morning, you will be picked by the driver from your hotel in Kigali and drive southwards to Gishwati Mukura National park. You will have a stopover in Butare, where you will visit the national museum of Rwanda, the king’s palace in Nyanza with lunch en-route. On reaching the park, you will get to participate in waterfalls hike which is a 4 mile hike that will lead you to the waterfalls. On reaching the waterfalls, get ready to be mesmerized by the beauty of the falls and also get ready to watch some primate species as they swing the trees and the different bird species for a rewarding safari experience. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Primate tracking in the park
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will be picked up by your guide to participate in a full day primate safari in the park. the full day hike will lead you to a number of different primate species which will give you the chance to access a number of different primate species like the blue monkeys, baboons, l’hoest’s monkey, golden monkeys and many other rewarding primate species that you will get to spend an hour with observing a number of their different features in the wild as they go about their daily activities in the wild. After the safari experience you will head back to your starting point where you will connect with your guide to transfer you back to Kigali city.
