Murchison falls national park is one of Uganda’s leading national parks established in 1952 covering an area of about 4000 kilometers squared. Bugungu airstrip is located in the southern sector of Murchison falls national park, this can be used by tourist looking for accommodation in the southern sector of the park like Pakuba safari lodge. Tourists can be picked at the airstrips of Murchison falls by taxis or by the respective hotels they will sleep in. There are domestic standard chattered flights operated by aero link and air Uganda operating from Kajjansi airfield and Entebbe international airport.
