In January and February, there’s usually a stretch of dry weather that comes between the two rainy seasons, and when exactly this happens is hard to tell.

In March, April, and May, we experience what we call the ‘long rains.’ It tends to rain nearly every day, but usually, it doesn’t pour the whole time. The heat can be tough to handle, and the air feels quite sticky. Thankfully, a breeze from the ocean helps to cool things down quite a bit.
