Day 1: Pick up and ascend Mount Kilimanjaro
At a location of your choice in Arusha city, then be transferred to Mount Kilimanjaro. On reaching the reception area, you will participate in a short briefing and later embark on your Mount Kilimanjaro hike. The hike will take you about hours, and during the transfer, you will enjoy the exceptional views of the mountain. You will watch a number of different vegetation covers, different bird species, and a number of different attractions via the Marangu route. On reaching the Mandara hut, you will relax, have lunch, and later have dinner and an overnight stay at the Mandara hut. The Mandara hut is at 2,740 meters / 9000 feet, which is perfect for beginners.
Day 2: Descend and transfer back to Arusha
After an early morning breakfast at your hut, you will make your way to Horombo hut at 3,700 meters/ 12100ft. To Horombo hut, you will explore the different vegetation zones, like the moorland zones, which will give you views of the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Take in the beautiful views and later descend back to Marangu gate, where you will have lunch and then head back to Arusha city, where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice, and the end of your 2 days Mount Kilimanjaro hike.
