Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Your guide will pick you up at your place of choice in Kigali city and transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. On reaching the park, participate in the ibyi’wacu cultural visit, a unique cultural group that has several rewarding attractions that can be seen when you visit the group. You will understand their culture through a number of ways, such as through their dance, folk songs, and many more. After the safari experience, you will make your way to your hotel for refreshments, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Rwanda
Have breakfast and with your packed lunch, head out to the habituated gorilla families in Rwanda. The safari experience is an out-of-this-world experience which will give you the chance to hike the Virunga mountains, which will give you access to several attractions, such as the primates, such as the golden monkeys, Mona monkeys, vervet monkeys, Hamlyn’s monkey, and many other different attractions. When you get to the gorilla family, you will enjoy watching the silverbacks as they protect the family, and you will watch the infants as they are taught how to go about daily activities in the wild. Take pictures of the species after your one hour elapses, and you will head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Birding and departure
After an early morning breakfast, you will then make your way to transfer to the park to participate in birding in Volcanoes National Park. The birding safari experience will give you access to many bird species, like the Albertine species, for instance, long-crested eagle, handsome Francolin, Rwenzori Batis, Dusky turtle dove, paradise flycatcher, archer’s ground robin, African Rwenzori, double collared sunbird, and several different bird species.
