Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Your guide will pick you up at your place of choice in Kigali city and transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. On reaching the park, participate in the ibyi’wacu cultural visit, a unique cultural group that has several rewarding attractions that can be seen when you visit the group. You will understand their culture through a number of ways, such as their dance, folk songs, and many more. After the safari experience, you will make your way to your hotel for refreshments, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Rwanda
Have breakfast and with your packed lunch, head out to the habituated gorilla families in Rwanda. The safari experience is an out-of-this-world experience which will give you the chance to hike the Virunga mountains, which will give you access to several attractions, such as the primates, such as the golden monkeys, Mona monkeys, vervet monkeys, Hamlyn’s monkey, and many other different attractions. When you get to the gorilla family, you will enjoy watching the silverbacks as they protect the family, and you will watch the infants as they are taught how to go about daily activities in the wild. Take pictures of the species. After your one hour elapses, you will head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will make your way to Uganda through the Cyanika border. Depending on the time you reach the hotel, you can get to participate in the Batwa trail experience, to understand more about the culture of the people of Rwanda. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in the park.

Day 4: Mount Sabyinyo hike
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to the park headquarters to participate in the Mount Sabyinyo hike. While hiking the mountain, get ready to watch several different attractions like the numerous primate species, such as the golden monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and Dent’s monkey. As you hike along its slopes, you can also get to see several animal species like the forest elephant, buffalo, and many other rewarding attractions. You will get to hike to the three peaks, depending on your preference, and what’s interesting about the peak is the fact that you will be in three countries, Congo, Uganda, and Rwanda. After the safari experience, you will make your way back to your starting point, connect with your guide to transfer you to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer back to Kigali city, where you will be dropped off at your hotel for dinner and overnight at Buhoma Haven Lodge
Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will carry a packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas, which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on where the gorillas are located, because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During the trek, you will have the opportunity to observe other primate species, including l’hoest monkeys, chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, and various plant and bird species, among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat, which allows you to observe their habits, behaviors, watch gorillas feed, breastfeed, groom young ones, take photos, and record the breathtaking moments to show people back home after the safari. After the one-hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded with a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking. After the safari experience will can either participate in the cultural tour or get the opportunity to visit the Batwa people, who were previously forest people with several unique cultural aspects from their local dances and many more. After, head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way back to Kampala city or Kigali city and the end of your 7 days primate and adventure safari in Uganda and Rwanda.
